DRE Issues Two Policy Statements related to 2019 CE Change and CAS Update for Real Estate Appraisal

Division of Real Estate’s Acting Director, Mario Treto Jr. has issued two policy statements related to the appraisal industry.  Policy Statement 2019-001 relates to the implementation of Consent to Administrative Supervision.  Policy Statement 2019-002 provides clarification with regards to credit for continuing education courses taken between July 1, 2019 and September 20, 2019.  Both policy statements were published to the IDFPR website on May 20, 2019 and can be found here. Director Treto intends for this policy statement to provide direction as we continue to enhance real estate professions while affording protections and high quality services to our consumers.
